Dear Students
It gives me immense pride and privilege to address you as the Chairman of the vibrant Student Association of Guwahati Branch(EIRC) of ICAI. It is indeed my privilege to support and guide you on your professional journey in ensuing the degree of a Chartered Accountant. I urge you to stay focus, work hard and remain committed to your goal.
It is indeed a joyous moment for me to share that after joining this elite profession as a student, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Executive Committee of EICASA Guwahati holding the post of Secretary in the year 2014-15. The journey from being a student to becoming a Chartered Accountant has taught me a lot. I will be more than happy to share my journey and lessons with you in the upcoming years.
Students, you are the future of Chartered Accountancy and a change maker of this profession. But always remember, success is not limited to achieving the degree, it is also about the person you become in this journey. Be kind, be humble and always conduct your self with integrity and professionalism.
As we mark our journey with the new and versatile team of Managing Commitee of EICASA, I encourage you to actively participate in various initiatives, events and programmes conducted by the team in the upcoming days. This includes various academics and co-corricular activities such as sports events, cultural celebration and celebration of various historical dates of ICAI and our country. These events bring along various opportunity for you to not only participate and showcase your talent, but also network at the profession and fraternity at large.
I thank the team of Managing Commitee of Guwahati Branch for bestowing their trust on me and giving me this opportunity to serve at this post. I also thank the immediate past Chairman of EICASA Guwahati, CA Gaurab Garodia, and the entire team of EICASA for astounding contribution towards EICASA which led Guwahati Branch in achieving the award of Best Student Association of EIRC for the term 2024-2025.
I look forward to working with the versatile team of EICASA and make this experience a wonderful one for us as well as the students.
Lastly I would conclude and urge you to come forward and work with passion and positivity towards ICAI and its students.
