Dear CA aspirants,
Greetings!!
It gives me immense pleasure to take charge as the new chairman of Guwahati EICASA for the period 2023-2024. I am grateful to the Guwahati Branch for entrusting me with this important role.
We are privileged that the immediate past President of ICAI, CA (Dr.) Debashish Mitra and the immediate past Chairman of EIRC, CA Ravi Patwa belong to our branch. Besides, the current Vice President of ICAI, CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal also belong to the eastern region of the Institute. The guidance, knowledge and support from all of them would be of great help in the upliftment of the students of EIRC.
EICASA, the students wing of EIRC, provides a great platform not only to explore and polish one’s existing skills and knowledge, but also to learn and imbibe newer skills and gain experiences which will be of utmost use in the day-to-day life, of students, both in their current role as students and in their future role as professionals.
I have had the privilege to work with CA aspirants in numerous capacities, at various stages in my professional journey. So, based on the insights that I have gathered over the years, I would try to bring to the table activities and programs which in my opinion are beneficial for the overall growth of the students.
Guided by the saying of Robert Collier, “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out”, I along with the dynamic and vibrant EICASA team will proceed in this year by making small efforts to strengthen the roots of the CA aspirants to make them better professionals tomorrow.
Our focus will primarily be on the practical aspects of the profession. We will ensure that the EICASA activities held time to time not only provides a break from the daily monotonous study routine of the students, but will also ensure that it helps them in their preparation in a fun filled manner.
I believe that the whole EICASA team with the support from all its students will make the branch reach newer heights. With this, I would like to conclude my first message as the Chairman of Guwahati EICASA. Looking forward to a great year full of new learning experiences with all the young and dynamic CA Students.
