As I reflect on the journey we have shared throughout May 2026, I am filled with immense pride and optimism for the future. This month has been a whirlwind of growth, learning, and celebration, centered around our unwavering commitment to academic and professional excellence.
This month was a landmark for the Guwahati Branch of EICASA, marked by a commitment to the three pillars I established at the start of our term: Knowledge, Networking, and Holistic Development.
When I envisioned the Mega CA Students ' Conference 2026, my goal was clear: to move beyond the confines of our branch auditorium and shatter previous records. I set a vision to achieve the highest number of registrations in the last decade, driven by the belief that our students deserved a platform commensurate with their ambition. Furthermore, it was a matter of immense pride that we successfully organized the first Pan-India student conference for the 2026-27 term. Accomplishing this in such a compressed timeframe, while navigating numerous challenges, was a formidable task. It required relentless, round-the-clock coordination and an uncompromising commitment to securing the finest speakers for you, as providing the best professional guidance has always been my core vision. Witnessing that vision come to life at the GMCH Auditorium was a testament to the incredible, tireless zeal you brought to this endeavor—together, we have set a new benchmark for excellence that will inspire generations to come.
May was a landmark month for the Guwahati Branch of EICASA. We kicked off our initiatives by bridging the gap between classroom theory and industry reality through enriching educational and industrial visits to the Reserve Bank of India and Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd. It was heartening to witness your enthusiasm as you engaged with the core of India ’ s economic and manufacturing landscapes.
Our commitment to holistic development took center stage during the National Talent Search 2026. Seeing you showcase your brilliance—not just in academic pursuits like quizzing and debating, but also through artistic expressions in sketching, poetry, and musical performances—reaffirmed my belief that a well-rounded Chartered Accountant is a force to be reckoned with.
"METABALLO VISTA — Elevating One ' s Perspective " was more than a conference; it was a vibrant ecosystem of knowledge and skill-building. From the insightful technical sessions on Accounting, Audit, Taxation, and AI, to the transformative skill-up sessions and the spirited "Radiant Night, " the event served as a powerful springboard for your professional leadership. I extend my deepest gratitude to all the dignitaries, speakers,volunteers, and the dedicated committees whose tireless teamwork transformed this ambitious vision into a grand, record-breaking success.
